Steve spent the past 20 years as an Owner/Partner in Leary Management Group, a property management group based in Kissimmee, FL. Over the course of his tenure with LMG, Steve was responsible for business development and operations, overseeing +160,000 sq ft of commercial properties in Winter Park, Haines City, Kissimmee, Orlando, and others. Prior to joining LMG Steve worked in New York City and San Francisco in Advertising and Technology where he worked on and led initiatives for clients such as United Parcel Service, Compaq Computer, Merrill Lynch, Miller Brewing Company, and others. Steve served the stakeholders of Winter Park as a City Commissioner from 2011-2015 and as Mayor from 2015-2021 where he led important community projects such as the development of the Winter Park Library and Event Center, WP9 and Showalter Field renovations, and others. Steve is the Managing Partner of Flange Skillets International which develops and markets gasket positioning devices to assist commercial divers servicing subsea pipelines all over the world. Steve holds domestic and international patents on these devices. Steve was raised in Rye, NY, graduated from The Brunswick School in Greenwich, CT and Washington College in Chestertown, MD.
