The Health Center

Future

health center

As part of our campus expansion, our brand-new neighborhood — Bristol Landing at The Mayflower — located on 16 acres is currently under construction with the health center being built first. Serving as an anchor for the new neighborhood, the four-story health center will be designed around a household model that will be inviting and homelike, featuring all-private rooms in its 60-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center and 24-unit memory support area. Among the many distinguishing features of the facility is the short-term rehab center, which will be designed with a hospitality focus to give the area its own ambience.

Skilled

Nursing

For years, The Mayflower’s on-site, 60-bed, state-licensed health center has met the highest standards in long-term care. Staffed by dedicated professionals, our facility meets both short-term and long-term nursing care needs.

Memory

Support

Stafford Shores, the memory support area of our new health center at Bristol Landing, will be separated into two wings, each home to 12 residents. Located on the first floor of the building, the memory support wings envelop a secure memory garden that overlooks the pond. Special design considerations were taken into account to minimize emotional discomfort through the use of calming finishes and wayfinding, while artwork and accessories will help create a safe, stimulating environment. Through the use of memory vignettes, residents will have the opportunity to engage in different activities independently or in a group setting.
